Whew! Somebody Stop The Madness!

I have never received so much political email as I have since our current president took office. I appreciate the folks who think they must keep me in the know, however, one of the facts that keep being missed in this time of craziness is that God is in control. Really, He is!

Do you think God was asleep and somehow Barack Obama slipped into office? I hardly think so. God is ever on His throne ruling and reigning as His will, decrees and good pleasure dictate.

And what of America's undeniable sin? Abortion, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, etc., etc.? And national repentance? Zero. Do you expect God to ignore this and allow this nation to go merrily on even ignoring God and His Son? No way.

So here we are. The nation desired a king to rule over them and they got one like unto themselves though they dare not admit it now. 2Chronicles 7:14 is the only way out, but I doubt that there are many people that will take it at its words and do what the verse says.

So in the midst of this hot political fiasco, me and my house...we are going to serve the Lord. How about you and yours?
